How do I know what a default audio device is? / dev / audio or / dev / dsp in ubuntu?

I tried to play random songs on the command line using mpg123. But I did not know what my device was by default. or if I need to specify any other audio device with the '-a' option. Both / dev / audio and / dev / dsp are audio devices. How to find out which one is the default?

The default sound system is ALSA and /dev/audioor /dev/dsp( OSS interfaces deprecated on Linux) are just an emulation layer over ALSA - and not even fully functional.
