Parts in pdflatex Contents

I have a thesis in which I want to group several sections using the \ part command.

I would like to have the following:

  • Chapter 1
  • Part I
    • Chapter 2
    • Chapter 3
  • Part II
    • Chapter 4
    • Chapter 5
  • Chapter 6

So, the last chapter should again be at the same level as the parts. In the table of contents of the text you cannot find it, because the parts are still on the same level. The problem is that in PDF, chapter 6 is added in Part II. Does anyone know how to change this?

A package bookmarkcan do this pretty well, by the way. It also uses only one pass to insert PDF bookmarks into a document.

\ part {...}
\ chapter {...}
\bookmarksetup{startatroot}
\chapter{...}

, LaTeX , , , - :\part , . , .

"" "preliminaries" , 1.

, , . , \chapter * , \addcontentsline . IMHO LaTeX: LaTeX .
