StyleCop, advantages / disadvantages

Question

Is StyleCop useful, what are its advantages or disadvantages?

I also downloaded StyleCop, Resharper StyleCop.

I use resharper and has its own encoding standards, and StyleCop has its own, I'm confused, what rules will be used?

I find StyleCop very useful for ensuring consistency in the development team. This will not improve the functional value of your code, but will improve readability and eliminate many of the nuances that you get in a collaborative environment.
