Drag and Drop HTML Table in PowerPoint 2007

I have been dealing with this problem for quite some time: Our company is developing add-ons for word / excel / ppt (both for versions 2003 and 2007)

One of the options offered by our additives is to drag a table from the add-in to the application.

This is implemented in three different ways:

  • Excel → we create a tab delimited row and drag it as DataFormats.text
  • Word → we create the RTF table and drag it as DataFormats.rtf
  • PPT -> we create an HTML table and drag it as DataFormats.html

Everything works fine both in 2003 and in 2007, with the exception of PowerPoint 2007, which does not seem to support any html-dropping (unlike PowerPoint 2003, which works fine) We all tried, and are starting to despair again.

Does anyone know how to enable PowerPoint 2007 to allow html removal in a presentation?

It may be a few years later, but the answer is always good.

I did it too. You must convert your HTML to JPEG

WebsiteToImage websiteToImage = new WebsiteToImage(temporaryFilePath, @"C:\image.bmp");
websiteToImage.Generate();
slide.Shapes.AddPicture(@"C:\image.bmp", Microsoft.Office.Core.MsoTriState.msoTrue, Microsoft.Office.Core.MsoTriState.msoTrue, oldshapeleft, oldshapetop, oldshapewidth, oldshapeheight);
