Question

In the past, I myself was part of my web projects. Now, since we are a team working on some project, be it python or php or ..., is there any simple version control system?

My hoster does not seem to support this kind. On the other hand, I believe that it is too early to start renting the entire server at this stage of the project to be able to install a version control system.

Any simple ideas how to solve this problem?

Try Mercurial . If your hosting supports ssh and python, you can run Mercurial on it.
