How to log out after authenticating with a single vendor sign?

I am trying to provide an authentication facility through a third-party single vendor identifier such as rpxnow. After logging in every time I refresh the page, I can’t get the cookies set by the provider so that I can delete them when the user wants to log out? Is there any other way to gracefully log out without trying to look for cookies, etc., Or to free the token provided by them after authentication?

I had a workaround. I saved the token obtained from one character on the site, and onclick logout deleted the token. Each call handler for each page was initiated by a validation check for the token variable in the session.
