What effect will denormalization have on requests, connections, and response time?

Before denormalizing, I wonder what effect this will have on the following:

  • Request Response Time
  • Database row width
  • The union required for the result
  • Number of requests required to complete requests

It seems, if I am not mistaken, that they will all be reduced ?

Your assumptions are correct. Denormalization will increase productivity, but the disadvantage is that it reduces correctness.
