Is Visual Studio 2010 beta 1 usable?

Question

I saw that beta version 1 of VS2010 was publicly available.

My question is to those of you who have tried it: does it work well?

Will it cause my computer to explode in tiny pieces? Will it randomly crash? Will it work with some minor glitches? Or is it just perfect from the bottom up?

I only code school and hobby things, so there’s nothing on which the lives of some people depend, but I still want the software to work. How close is the final product? Is it worth trying?
