MS Reporting Services Report Viewer in MS Access Database

I have a report deployed to MS Reporting Services server that is working fine. I can access it from an ASPX page without any problems, set report parameters, etc., using the Microsoft Report Viewer component. It works great.

The question is: is there a way to view this WITHIN report of a form in an Access database ? Is there a version of the report viewer that can be used with MS Access?

I searched on the Internet, but I can not find a solution.

I know that an Access report can be imported into SSRS, but I need to be able to view the SSRS report from Access.

Thanks!!

Not in direct form.

The best thing you get is some kind of "web control" that you can use to provide an IE session for reporting. Or use the link with Access URL to create a separate IE window.

an activeX element, Microsoft Web Browser allows you to configure a web browser control inside an access form.

I think SSRS is an absolutely excellent product, I would just get rid of Access and use the current reporting tool. Microsoft has introduced ReportViewer controls that allow you to embed SSRS reports anywhere (in .NET land).

Perhaps you can create an Access add-in that uses this control.

, SSRS - . SSRS Microsoft - Team Foundation Server.. , , SSRS , -.
