For a long time struggled with this problem and could not find an answer so far. Basically, what I want to do is to capture the contents of my EAGLview and then use it to merge with other images. In any case, the main problem is that everything transparent in my EAGLview makes it opaque, saving it in a photo album or putting it in a UIImageView. Let me share some code with you, I found somewhere else:

As I mentioned, this captures the contents of my EAGLview perfectly, but I cannot get the image with its alpha values.
