Test cases for every link on a website?

I have a pretty simple question about test cases in the world of site development. Does it make sense to have a separate test case for each hyperlink for all pages of the site? E.g. my site can have 10 pages, each with approx. 10 hyperlinks in it. Should I have 100 test cases, each of which explains where this link should redirect me to. I just want to know what is the best approach to make sure all the links are correct before you go live.

Good - as common sense, if you want to be sure that they work, you will need to smoke test them somehow, but I highly recommend that you install some kind of kit to automatically test the user interface for this.

Test cases are usually defined by functions, so it makes sense to associate test cases only with hyperlinks (in your case), which are functions, if they are simply redirected, you just get a bunch of very ceremonial documents that will soon be covered with dust.

It really depends on how you worry about each link ...
