SQL Server Management Studio 2005 and version control

I have all my SQL stored in the source control in the following structure

Database
    Tables
    Stored Procs
    Views
    Static Data

I would like to associate my original control with SSMS, which seems to support initial control, but SSMS wants to put all the scripts in one folder, which for me is not a starter.

Is it possible to get SSMS to work with my existing framework? If not, is SSMS 2008 more flexible in this regard?
