ASP.NET - collaboration between developer and developer

There are dedicated designers in our organization who design the page and shorten it in Dreamweaver. In the past, this worked well with ASP and PHP sites. Now we are trying to get it to work with .NET, but we are struggling because of the structure of the project in ASP.NET. How does everyone collaborate with developers? The special points I'm looking for are the following:

-Transferring Dreamweaver content for Visual Studio -Introducing HTML inputs into server controls -Add designer access to the finished Visual Studio product so that they can customize the layout
