Can someone point me to a really understandable guide to web.config?

I am very interested in getting an in-depth understanding of the format and structure of the web.config file for ASP.NET web development. I would like to know if there is something very easy to understand material (other than MSDN documents) that can give me a basic understanding of the web.config file and its various sections.
