I have jQuery that takes some time to complete, and after a few seconds I get an error:
Stop running script? A script on this page makes Internet Explorer run slower. If it continues to work, your computer may stop responding.
Is there a way to extend the wait time? I suppose that would mean extending the timeout on the persons machine that is viewing the url
If you use the script in Google Chrome, you can turn off the hang monitor with the flag: --disable-hang-monitor on the command line.
Mozilla (, Firefox, Camino, SeaMonkey, Iceweasel) : config dom.max_script_run_time.
