How do I link another section or subsection of my LaTeX document? What is the usual format for such links to write them as [link name] or to make them like hyperlinks to a web page?

Linking to another section requires some extra markup on your part. Commands Used:

• \ label {identifier} - creates a label that can later refer to the following two commands

• \ ref {identifier} - LaTeX replaces this markup with the number of the section / subsection / figure / table / theorem in which the label identifier is defined.

• \ pageref {identifier} - LaTeX ////, .

, , ". X.Y Z",

\label{mySection} % Put this inside your section

see section \ref{mySection} on page \pageref{mySection}"
