Is it possible to run an executable from a web service?

I have a web service and I would like to call it .exe.

Is it possible? If so, how is this done?

I made it C # 3.5 with WCF. You can run exe from a web service. Exe will run on the machine serving the host and with the user configured by the service. You need to write regular Process.Start (...) code.

So the answer is yes, you can and, of course, exe will run on the web service host, and not on the client. If you need more information, be more specific in your question.
