List.Sort IComparer Performance

I am trying to sort a pair of arrays int (int [] a; int [] b;)

If I use Array.Sort (a, b), then the performance is great.

However, I would prefer to use List <> and load int pairs in the structure. I can get this to work using Array.Sort () with overloading, which provides a simple comparing tool for the structure, but it is about 4 times slower than Array.Sort (a, b)

This is normal?
