TLS / SSL in .net

Question

Is there any (hopefully free / open source) code that has a native TLS / SSL connection? I am not talking about the classes HTTPListener / Client and WebRequest. I would like to make raw TLS communication in my C # code.

Here's an article on codeproject , it also contains code for using OpenSSL.

Do you mind if I ask, what are you trying to achieve? Just curious; there are many high-level wrapper classes for this kind of thing, so you usually don't need to work at that level (not that there is something wrong with that :-)
