I am trying to debug an extJS-based JavaScript form in Firefox 3.0.8 using Firebug, but none of my debuggers work. console.logcauses an error console is not definedin the console. The operator debuggerjust does not work.

You may have installed another Firefox extension, which is useless for the Firebug console. For example, I installed "HttpWatch Basic" and it broke console.log (). Disconnected HttpWatch and everything was in order.
Are you using Firefox 2.x?
