Is it recommended to use the same dimension sizes in Oracle table spaces?

I have been using Oracle for quite some time now since the release of Oracle 8i. At that time, I was new to the database, and I was told that when defining table spaces, it is best to use size by size by size by size by size.

From what I read, it seems that today, using 10 / 11g, Oracle can automatically manage these extent sizes and that it cannot keep the size sizes constant. I can easily understand how this can use disk space more efficiently, but these are their drawbacks. I think it is time to let go of the past. (assuming my past teaching was right in the first place)

Yes, except in very unusual cases, this is the time to let go of the past and take advantage of Oracle's new extension management features. Use locally managed table spaces (LMTs) and automatic sizing, and you no longer need to think about it.
