Redirect Apache to Geo / Country IP

Do any of you redirect IP (inside Apache) for people coming to your site from different countries?

What are you using? mod_geoip and / or a whole bunch of mod_rewrite rules? Is mod_geoip reliable / well-performing / accurate?

I used mod_geoip, but recently flushed Apache for Cherokee (which has its own GEOIP logic).

I can’t say that I had performance issues, but the Cherokee is definitely easier to set up.

The accuracy is pretty accurate, but (obviously) no one can tell if anyone is viewing a transparent proxy in another country.
