I wonder if there were any studies / algorthms that determine the amount of deviation of the mouse when recognizing characters, for example say ?? with the mouse. Something like optical character recognition, but probably a simpler version. Is there any algorithm in which I can say that the question mark drawn by the user is really a question mark and not something else with some degree of accuracy. Something like what the software for Windows tablets allows (when writing with a stylus on a tablet).
