I just did a clean install of CF8 on a Windows 2000 machine. I have a scheduled task that I have to run every 15 minutes on this machine, and the machine does nothing.
The task is configured as usual with CF admin, but for some reason, when the task takes about 5 minutes to start it, it will complete normally (I see this from the debug output and from cfstat), but the scheduler will not redirect the task.
The scheduling log shows that the task has started, but not the record that was rescheduled. For example:
[ProcessRecords] Executing at Wed May 20 10:30:00 BST 2009
I survived the server timeouts. I do not have a timeout in CF administration, and this particular script has a set of tags <cfsetting requesttimeout="43200" />. There are no exceptions to console logging. The last bit of console logging is the most recent debug statement in my .cfm template.
I notice that a task performed in a shorter time, for example, in a minute, will be rescheduled as usual.
Has anyone encountered such a problem before?
I am puzzled. All answers are welcome!
Cheers, Kiran
