Extending TFS and Keywords

We have moved several projects from Microsoft Visual SourceSafe (VSS) to Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) and now notice that the keyword extension no longer works.

For example, keywords such as $Log$or $Header$will no longer be added to the correct values.

Can someone tell us why this is?
