SEO URLs in rails: .html end vs. none. What's better?

I am thinking of a good SEO Url strategy for a blog application. I'm not sure - and maybe it's the same thing, but which is better? With or without .html

/blog/entry_permalink_name.hml

VS

/ blog / entry_permalink_name

What do you think?

To answer your question directly, without HTML is better SEO-wise. Search engines consider keywords from URLs. Now, the more words or characters present in the URL, the weaker the strength of the given keyword.

Logically, it follows that the advantage of SEO in adding ".html" to the end of the URL is missing.
