Lightweight editor for web.config files

I am looking for a lightweight text editor for web.config files with syntax highlighting (e.g. in visual studio).

Any suggestions?

You can use Notepad ++ . When you work with web.config, select the XML language to highlight syntax highlighting. It looks like this .

Well, obviously, you can use any editor (for example, EditPlus or Notepad ++), but if you are looking for a client with a small weight who “knows” that web.config is ASPhere

Scintilla SciTE is ultralight, and XMLcoloring syntax.

SciTE is a text editor based on SCIntilla. Originally built to demonstrate Scintilla, it has become a publicly accessible editor with the ability to create and run programs.

The download page says:

A single executable file called Sc1 (530K) does not need any DLLs or property files, as they are associated with the executable.
