WPF Resilience in VS2008 Express

I'm having stability issues in the xaml editor. Rebooting VS 25 times a day became tedious. Are there strategies that minimize the problem or an open source alternative that provides a visual display? Any help would be truly appreciated! I don't want to jump out of the window, but I ... I will!

If you don’t need a constructor, you can simply switch to the default editor for XAML files in the Source Editor, which still provides completion and is faster and more responsive.
