How to make autocomplete SO tags using Ajax

Can someone tell me how I can implement something like an autocomplete tag using Ajax?

The easiest and easiest way is to use AutoCompleteExtender in the Ajax Controls Toolkit .

It uses a WebService to transfer data to the control and can be linked to an existing TextBox. However, you can also use PageMethod to feed the expander.

Alternatively, you can collapse your own using JavaScript and ScriptManager, however this can be quite complicated. I recently tried with jQuery and it is definitely easier.
