ASP Weird Unspecified Error - 80004005

I had to work on an already created website, just adding a small module

While I was updating, there were a lot of files called myDB.mdb in different subfolders I wanted to make sure that my application connects the correct database so I started to rename the subfolder ... in one of these subfolders, I updated, the main site and mine stopped working

I renamed back to the correct name .. update ... update ... update .. I am still updating and I started another browser .. it poses a connection problem: S

Provider error '80004005'

Undefined error

/new/conn.asp line 13

Any idea of it: S would appreciate any help!

I had the same problem. The first time I loaded the page, it worked fine, but if I quickly loaded the page, I got this error. If I waited a while, I did not get an error. This is because when you call objConnection.Close, it takes some time to actually close the mdb file, so if you try to open it again, you will get the message "The file is already in use type". Strangely adding a connection mode, this problem was solved for me. It does not need to read only, read / write also works.

objConnection.Mode = 1 ' read only
