Subversion on SQL Server

Can I store Subversion metadata in SQL Server? We need SQL Server based Subversion.

In any case, this is not so. Subversion allows you to choose between FSFS and Berkeley DB, with FSFS being the best choice for most people. (Berkeley DB has some corruption issues).

Is there a reason you want to store data in SQL Server?

I'm with James Avery - why do you want to store data on SQL Server? If you want to somehow interact with the subversion base data from the .NET library, check out SharpSVN: http://sharpsvn.open.collab.net/ .

Subversion BDB ( Berkley) . , , . , , BDB SQL Server.

Be that as it may, future versions of SVN look for revprop data in sqlite db instead of files. If so, then you should have access to this in much the same way, but only for mutable revprops. I'm not sure if they intend to restrict access to them in svn libraries to allow any other process to read and write to it.

Of course, the biggest reason SQL Server is not suited for subversion is because it completely disrupts its ability to be cross-platform.
