I have a table in which I have to fix broken formulas. Does anyone know what it means to do?

This means that there was a link to the worksheet or named range that was deleted.

In other words, maybe it was

=Worksheet2!A33

but Worksheet2 is deleted.

Perhaps nearby cells have similar formulas that still indicate the correct location, and you can recreate what it points to ...
