TortoiseSVN reassigns source folders

Recently, I had to change my development to another computer. I installed TortoiseSVN because I still had the source code that had to be checked in SVN. But apparently, the new Tortoise installation does not recognize my source folders, although the ".SVN" folders are still there, I do not see any overlay icons displayed in the files.

Is there a way to reassign my local folders to folders in the repository?

TortoiseSVN has an option to use the “_svn” folders instead of the “.svn” folders (due to a problem with older versions of Visual Studio), check to see if you caused the problem.
