Can I use Core Audio effects on iPhone?

I know that a subset of Core Audio is available on iPhone OS, but I don't know how many of all effects / filters are available. If it is available, I would like to receive some instructions on how to apply some simple effects to an audio device (delay, echo, etc.).

There are several things you can do on the iPhone WRT for audio.
