AJAX Toolkit AutoCompleteExtender with * PAGE *?

Question

I am currently using the AJAX Toolkit AutoCompleteExtender application to expand a text field. It uses a web service to select and retrieve data. The docs for the toolkit say that you can also use the page service, and I tried to get it for wrok for several days - both in versions vs2005, and versions 2.0 and vs2008 and frame version 3.5 (attrubutes for the page service are slightly different in each version ) I can not get any version to work with the page service - both work fine with the web service.

Is anyone lucky with this?
