Can you post permissions to store S3 files?

Question

Can you post permissions on files uploaded to S3?

Or, if someone knows the guild / URL of the file, can he open it publicly?

If so, what permissions can we set?

Permissions are implemented using a key mechanism. You can make the content available to everyone (without a password) or require a password. You grant download privileges by generating a key URI that you can limit to maximum throughput.
