Undo the latest version from Sourcesafe

Is there any way to cancel getting the latest version from a project? I have been working on a project for a week and have never checked the files I worked on. A colleague had to download the version from my computer, so he used the get-latest-version (recursive) command for the whole solution.

It seems that my Visual Studio has a problem, and it allows editing without checking the file, so all my changes were without checking the file. When Vs asked my colleague either to check the changes or to replace the local version of SourceSafe, he decided to replace the local version with the version of SourceSafe, and my VS was configured so that he applied this setting to each file.

So, I just lost my job this week. is there any way to get this back?

you can try using a previous version in Vista, assuming you are working. Other than that, if you don't have a backup, you're pretty much screwed up.

I also remembered this before the learning experience - often for registration. I would be deprived if I lost a day of work, not to mention a whole week.

Uch. The IT department here performs nightly backups of each machine from the tape system in the machine room. You may ask if something similar has been done where you are.

The couple is worried:

1) Sourcesafe is unsafe. Do some search queries. Your organization is asking for disaster using it.

If it was an ASP.Net project, you can try to find files in your temporary ASP.Net directory (buried in your% system% directory) if you do not start the project after you clone your local files.
