What is the best solution to solve the GPS problem of tracking GPS data in C #?

I have several cars that send data to the server every minute. The server must listen and decode data for storage in the database. There will be thousands of records per minute. What is the best approach to solve this problem?

My personal favorite, WCF or the WebService farm redirects data to the Microsoft Message Queuing (MSMQ) and the application server (1 or more) converts the data and puts it in the database.
