Nice reporting tool

Question

I am looking for a great reporting tool. I know that glorious is a subjective term, but ... here are my desires:

• Dead simple for business types
• Doesn't require any SQL from me
• You can check the database schema to interpret user requests without the intervention of a programmer.
• Costs almost nothing
• Can save generally accepted reports

It sounds pretty much like pivot tables, except that it is too complicated for this environment.

Is there such a tool, or am I doomed to spend the rest of my career in corporate programming by writing some reports?
