IE7 is indented text when it should not be

The link has been moved because it no longer points to the site and a solution is found

I have some list items that have a mysterious left pad / box.

In Firefox, it displays as expected. But in IE7 there is text indentation or something that forces the inner text in about 4 spaces. See the sample link above.

I set it paddingto 0, marginto 0 (although it should not be so clear that the border goes around an element containing a space), text-indentto 0 and text-align: left.

Does anyone know what could be causing this?

style.css LIST-STYLE-POSITION . IE.

#content-body UL {
    LIST-STYLE-POSITION: inside; LIST-STYLE-TYPE: disc
}

, .events UL

.events UL {
    ...
    LIST-STYLE-POSITION: outside! important;
}
