As Mark says, it would be interesting to try. Fortunately, I can effectively make time to work on this - it would be a reasonable 20% project if there were enough people (so I can demonstrate its added value).
Please email me ( skeet@pobox.com ) if this is what you find useful, and I will see how much effort it will be. If there is only a day or two at the port, I can squeeze it in. Please do not feel that the mailing is unnecessary because I guess that a few more people have already done this - the point is to measure the usefulness of such a port.
