Script to download emails from Gmail and save to SQL server?

Does anyone know a script to download email from Gmail and save it on a SQL server? (for backup purposes)

I am looking for a .NET solution (C #).

It would be very easy to write one. Just connect via IMAP Pop3 (there are already .NET libraries for this), then download emails and paste them into your database. A program like this will take an hour to write tops if you don't need more features.
