Object Relational Mappings in .NET and Using Stored Procedures

Given that in most cases they generate functions Create, Read, Updateand Delete(CRUD), does this mean that the stored procedures are not normally used so often? If these methods are used LINQ, then this means that stored procedures are not used, right?
