Java Swing Combobox with autocomplete and context menu

Question

I have JCombobox auto-shutdown by following this article:

I am using the SwingX library.

Now I would like to add save support to the items in the combo box. Basically, when you right-click on an item, a context menu appears and you can delete the item. Same thing with the delete key.

To add an item, the user simply dials a new record that is not yet listed.

I have not yet found a way to connect the context menu.
