Eclipse Plugin Dev: how to use the new Rich Text Hovers (since 3.4)

I implemented simple text hangs in my plugin using ITextHover. And now I want to use the new eclipse 3.4 function. Rich text freezes with text styles, images and actions. But I can not find articles / examples about this. What interfaces should I use and where? I found the ITextHoverExtension2 interface but cannot find how to create hover objects (which class should they be?) And which interface should catch them?

I don’t know if OP is interested in everything, but for the record: what I wrote earlier was half right and more than three quarters wrong (and yes, I can do the math :-) I wrote a blog post that I hope copes with this question better.
