How can I get files stored on the host machine?

I installed Linux systems on VMWare, which is a guest of Windows XP operating systems.

How can I get files stored in XP file systems directly when working in a Linux environment?

You have two ways:

• Shared VMware folders . They are built into VMware and work well, but you need to install mount it on a Linux guest using Samba .
