Since blends mix with the performance of our game, we tried several mixing strategies to create the “illusion” of mixing. One of them draws a sprite every odd frame, as a result of which the sprite becomes visible in half the time. The effect is beautiful. (By the way, you will need the correct frame rate, otherwise your sprite will noticeably flicker)
Despite this, I would like to know if there are any good ideas, avoiding mixing to improve performance without sacrificing (too much) visual experience.
