Tool for creating HTTP requests

Question

I am looking for the best tool that allows me to create my own HTTP requests. Like a poster for firefox add-ons.

Any suggestions. I am looking at some security checks on web services.

Fiddler2 is the best tool that I know for this kind of work .. a huge number of functions for requests for creating scripts, as well as storing sessions for later analysis.
