Is there any reasonable SSDP or DIDL Lib for java / groovy / python?

Question

For a future project, I am looking for a library for processing SSDP messages and messages in the DIDL-Lite xml dialog box. Is there any reasonable implementation of java, groovy or python?

I do not like to use existing UPnP stacks like cybergarage or the UPnP frauenhofer stack because they are heavily dependent on these stacks.
