Unmanaged x64 assemblies in a .NET mixed development environment

What should we do if we have some developers working on 64-bit machines, and some on 32-bit machines, but we need to refer to unmanaged assemblies, which should be in x86 for half of the team and x64 for the other half? Is there a solution besides manually updating the links every time someone on the 64-bit platform becomes the last?
